A wrap is a digitally-printed graphic that fully or partially covers a vehicle. The large graphic print is literally shrink-wrapped to the vehicle. Wraps are sometimes confused with loose decals on a painted surface.
Vinyl graphics are a great non-permanent way to advertise your business. According to the Outdoor Advertising Association of America, mobile advertising reaches more consumers at a lower cost per thousand (CPM) impressions than any form of traditional advertising. On average, a vehicle wrap costs approximately $.77 per CPM, while a 60-second radio spot can cost up to $8.61 CPM. The average billboard can cost up to $2.18 per CPM.
Wraps and decals will generally cause no damage to factory paint, given there is no rust or chips. In fact, vinyl wraps usually protect a vehicle's paint from fading, peeling or chipping!
